Zellweger is social worker Emily Jenkins. She meets Lilith Sullivan ( Ferland ). Lilith is an uneasy kid and Emily makes it her responsibility to take care of her after she reveals out that Lilith's parents tried to kill her. Emily manages to save Lilith and takes care of her till the right foster family for the child comes along. She then reveals that Lilith is not an innocent as she appears.
